Our client’s services group in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Loss Mitigation Manager to manage and execute the development of all operating procedures relating to the Loss Mitigation unit within Default Management. In addition, act as the default liaison to Portfolio Management, Client Relations and Consumer Government Affairs Team.
Candidate must hold Nevada and/or Tennessee collection licenses.
Candidate must work in either Beaverton or Salem, Oregon office.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manages all personnel and functions related to the Loss Mitigation team.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and management controls to maximize operational efficiencies while maintaining sound internal controls.
• Implements meaningful operating standards that fully comply with investor and government agency servicing requirements.
• Monitor staff’s adherence to established policies and procedures, including deadlines and allowable exceptions.
• Act as liaison between various internal departments and outside third parties, providing information, decisions and guidance as needed.
• Reviews and approves transactions as outlined in the Delegations of Authority Matrix.
• Coordination of special projects and prepares status reports on results for presentation to management.

• Responsible for the professional development of Managers and Team Leads. Oversees the professional development of Loss Mitigation staffing.
• Oversees the development of policies and procedures that address industry accepted servicing standards of performance as they relate to non-performing loans.
• Oversees the development of policies and procedures that address regulatory compliance requirements as they relate to non-performing loan servicing.
• Ensures that internal operating procedures and organizational functions promote sound internal controls to mitigate regulatory, financial and operational risks.
• Analyzes changes in the servicing portfolio and the impact on responsible unit’s operating procedures and staffing.
• Negotiates with and manages external vendors providing services to the assigned business unit to ensure each service is performed according to contract requirements and according to accepted servicing standards.
• Resolves customer complaints and disputes that have escalated beyond the department Managers or Team Leads.
• Oversees workflow and organization of assigned business unit.
• Conducts internal control testing activities, including identifying problem areas and implementing corrective action.
• Regularly reviews various exception and performance reports for each unit. Ensures that corrective action is implemented when necessary.

Required:
Basic knowledge in active collections license(s) in the states of Nevada or Tennessee (preferably both)
At least 3 years experience in mortgage servicing or debt collection
Readiness to travel up to 25%; travelling 2 days a week, home on weekends

Our client, a top tier bank, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst. Candidates will have a strong knowledge of securities and the applications used to support financial transactions.These applications operate in a service-based architecture with internally developed code. Requests to the service are primarily for hedge relationships under FAS133, market data, price valuation from external systems. Business line coverage includes CMBS, MUNI, CORP, BOND securities. Candidate will need to work closely with development teams to understand changes to the architecture and bug fixes and enhancements to the service. Successful execution of the role will require strict attention to detail around environment configuration for the regression tests, involving multiple envs and teams. Candidate must develop effective test plans through consultation with clients and development team members (without formal Business Requirement Docs), maintain/upgrade the regression test cases, and document the process for production support. Candidate must proactively be able to troubleshoot potential testing defects and escalate accordingly. Candidate must have sufficient working knowledge of Mercury Quality Center.
Minimum 5 years experience QA, Production Support, Operations or Investment Banking
