You will guarantee an efficient delivery of the solution by validating each step of the project: from definition of the client`s needs to delivery of a `ready for production` solution, in a timely and professional manner.

Your role will involve:

The Application Support Engineer’s main responsibility is to resolve 80% of issues raised by the Technical Account Managers and to coordinate the resolution of the remaining issues with the development team.

*Point of contact for all issues raised by the Technical Account Managers, taking ownership of the incident through to resolution
*Issue investigation including in-depth log file analysis, issue recreation and code review
*Escalation to the appropriate development team for Level 3 support
*Testing and validation of product patches and upgrades
*Communication of regular updates to the Technical Account Manager
*Assistance with projects on an ad-hoc basis
*Close interaction with other members of TSE team worldwide

Key Requirements and Qualifications
The Application Support Engineer comes from a software background and is looking to move away from full time programming into a more communicative client-related role, applying existing technical expertise and acquiring additional specialist knowledge.

*Engineering school (IT, programming, computer science)
*2 years+ experience as a Software Engineer and/or as an Application Support Engineer
*Good knowledge of programming languages. JAVA or any Object-Oriented programming language would be a plus
*Strong database skills
*General knowledge in computer sciences, with an overall view on present technologies
*Excellent communication, organizational and troubleshooting skills
*Team player
*Fluent in English
*Knowledge of FIX protocol is optional but would be an asset
