Candidate will be based out of N.Y. and will travel 20% of time to Zurich, Syngapore, London, Hong Kong. The three main things to be accomplished will be: Internal Mobility Inititiative, Evaluate existing Model of outsourcing program, and reduce response time to open positons as well as lowering cost per hire. This is a strategic position. Overall mission would be to Implement plan to attract, develop and retain top talent in the marketplace. Client is not looking for a recruiter.

Requirements:

Corporate recruiting background, came up thru the ranks starting preferably with a large vendor as a technical recruiter then became a corporate recruiter in technology for financial services firm or large corporate company. Then worked way up thru ranks to become recruiting manager and eventually more of an HR generalist focusing on Internal Mobility,Talent Aquisition and Asessment.

Our client is looking for a proven IT Recruiter to work in our Virginia office. You’ll work with our recruiting team to source and screen candidates to fill IT consulting and full-time positions.

Responsibilities:

Searching for (using various Internet sources and referral techniques) qualified candidates

Screening and presenting viable candidates to our clients, based on detailed job descriptions

Assisting in checking employment references

Arranging for background checks if necessary

Scheduling interviews

Briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews

Managing the offer process including helping to follow-up with candidates and extending offers

Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation on all conversations with candidates

Building a database of candidates with whom you have a relationship with

Understanding technology and the marketplace

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree

3-5 years of recruiting experience (preferably coming from the IT or software industry)

Demonstrated ability in developing initial contacts by phone

Internet recruiting and sourcing skills

1-3 years of agency experience

Prospecting skills

Resourcefulness

Experience in cold calling and networking

Motivated and driven with a strong desire to succeed

Prior sales experience is a strong plus
