<p>Our client has an immediate opening for an Implementation Project Manager. They are looking for someone who wants to take the next step in their career path. This position is based out of their NYC office, but heavy travel is required. You may be away for long periods of time domestically and internationally. This is a full time position. The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing their proprietary software packages and products at client sites in the Energy and Financial sectors. You will manage teams, develop project plans and budgeting, coordinate resources, and hold weekly project management meetings. The PM will also coordinate and meet delivery dates, and track project risks and issues. You will manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction. This person will work in a team to set goals, understand client requirements and develop detailed plans. The Project Manager will act as the primary client interface and ensure consistent client satisfaction. You may be required to provide sales support and other related tasks required to support our client`s products and clients.</p>

Role involves workings with traders, modellers and controllers building systems for pricing, risk management and P&amp;L.<br />
Work includes a mixture of short term tactical development (eg. investigating P&amp;L, setting up scenarios, small development tasks in existing trading tool) and longer term strategic work (eg. system extensions to allow trading of exotic derivatives on non-deliverable currencies)<br />
System is written in C#, Java, C++ and proprietary language. Candidate will need to be comfortable working in all environments.</p>

As a member of the Global FIX Client Integration team, you will design, configure, test and support FIX interfaces between clients and internal and external Morgan Stanley electronic trading destinations. You will be responsible for managing complex production trading environments in both equities and fixed income areas and will apply creative solutions to systems and applications issues that arise from clients who push our technology to the limit and beyond. The position involves extensive interaction with our clients, account managers and various Morgan Stanley trading desks to develop technology and business solutions to enable clients to connect and trade electronically. <p dir="ltr" align="left">Certainly, headcount levels across Wall Street are still lower than before the financial crisis, according to Richelle Konian, co-founder and Chief Executive of search firm Careers On The Move.</p>
<p dir="ltr" align="left">And there is a preference for hiring cheaper, more junior staff rather than splashing out on top managing directors, Konian said. &#8220;People are being very cost-conscious right now with hires,&#8221; she added.</p>
<p dir="ltr" align="left">The exception is for senior executives with proven client relationships, said Gary Goldstein, founder and president of recruiting firm Whitney Group.</p>
<p dir="ltr" align="left">&#8220;There seems to be a fair amount of activity looking for senior coverage,&#8221; he said.</p>
