1797 – Sr. MS SQL Server 2005 Programmer (Pharmaceutical or Mfg)
- Maintain and enhance existing SQL stored procedures.
2. Work with client groups/subject matter experts to develop requirements (URS) for new/updated procedures and/or custom queries. May be required to lead team efforts to define URS.
3. Develop, document and, where necessary, validate SQL code against the agreed URS.
4. Work with IT department DBAs to ensure proper installation and performance of stored procedures.
5. Ensure that programs are developed and deployed in a manner compliant with corporate and manufacturing regulatory requirements (including 21 CFR Part 11 a plus).
6. Develop and deliver SQL training as needed.
7. Be a member of a strong, responsive team that is reliable and flexible to shifting demands.
Requirements:
1. B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 5 or more year’s industrial experience in a Pharmaceutical GxP or Manufacturing regulated environment.
2. Demonstrated expertise in programing for MS SQL Server 2005 or later.
3. Ability to create complex tables, stored procedures and views with transaction level locking strategies.
4. Experience using DTS/SSIS desired.
5. Experience defining and building necessary audits and controls to ensure the accuracy of the data.
6. Experience/exposure to using Visual Basic.NET and NET CLR extensions to SQL Server a plus.
7. SAS programming experience a definite plus.
8. Background in structured programming a plus.
9. Ability to research and resolve.
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Salary: $100,000 -$105,000
