Valuation Manager – Forensic Litigation (Central, NJ)

Our client is one of the largest leading full-service accounting and advisory firms in the United States. They provide audit, accounting and tax services, as well as corporate finance, internal audit and risk management, litigation consulting, forensic accounting and other professional advisory services to a broad range of clients across many industries. Working with high net worth individuals, family offices, closely-held businesses, start-ups, middle market and Fortune 500 companies.

Valuation Manager will be involved in the preparation and reviewing of valuation reports and related supporting documentation, as well as performing online database research.

Requirements:

  •  Bachelors degree in Finance or similar. ASA/AM, CPA/ABV, CVA, AVA, CFA track a plus
  • 6 + years experience at a valuation or accounting firm
  • Capital IQ proficiency
  • Experience preparing and reviewing valuations for financial reporting, tax and litigation purposes
  • Experience in the following:
    • Privately-held companies and different equity securities of privately-held companies
    • Purchase price allocations and intangible assets valuations in compliance with ASC 805
    • Impairment testing of goodwill and long-term assets in compliance with ASC 350
    • Valuation of portfolio investments in compliance with ASC 820
    • Options, warrants and derivatives and use of lattice and Monte Carlo models
    • Quantification of discounts and premiums
