CONSUMER PRODUCTS OR RETAIL EXPERIENCE, MBA & CPA REQUIRED.

Our Client, a very strong consumer products company is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst. This individual will be responsible for consolidating the Company`s global financial results, assisting with internal and external financial reporting, recording all transactions and working on other corporate projects, including but not limited to financial reporting, planning, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Partner w/ Sales/Marketing/Commercial teams in order to deliver financial commitments and drive profitable growth.

Key Accountabilities

`           Key finance liaison Sales / Marketing teams

`           Develop business processes and tools to provide accurate, consistent and timely reporting and analysis of business results.  Includes data management, development/execution of management reporting tools.

`           Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of all elements of contribution margin.  Partner with Sales/Marketing teams(s) to develop plans and to reconcile those plans to the overall financial targets.

`           Track and communicate financial performance including risks and opportunities vs. plan. 

`           Participate in cross-functional business reviews.

`           Support evaluation of new business opportunities and risks through scenario modeling and other financial analysis.

Customer Demand

Key Finance contact for Sales/Marketing/Commercial teams.  Work closely w/ other cross-functional teams to understand all components of  profitability and to feed company planning and reporting processes.

Role Requirements

Experience

`           MUST have: CPA and TRADITIONAL ACCOUNTING Experience

`           BBA in accounting or finance

`           MBA preferred

`           At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis

`           Wine/spirits and/or CONSUMER PRODUCTS experience is a Must.

Skills/Knowledge

`           Strong working knowledge of Hyperion is preferred

`           Technical and financial knowledge in addition to strong analytical skills, specifically in the areas of: compiling, analyzing and reporting data in a format that management can easily use for decision making.

`           Demonstrated ability to set objectives and priorities and follow through on commitments.

`           Agility

`           Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $100,000 – 120,000 Plus Bonus
