Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or another related field is required. Master’s Degree and/or CFA Designation (or CFA candidate) preferred. American Society of Appraisers – Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation preferred.  CPA or ABV a plus.
  • Minimum 7+ years valuation experience required.
  • Minimum seven  years working with trust, estates and gift tax for estate tax planning purposes.
  • Working experience with Excel modeling required.
  • Background in generating financial valuation modeling utilizing standard methodology practices that include Discounted Cash Flows and Comparables.
  • Must be comfortable and experienced interfacing with and handling clients.
  • Must be able to manage and oversee junior staff.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills; experience preparing and reviewing valuation reports.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Minimum three years of experience in real property valuation or consulting

Candidate for MAI (Member of Appraisal Institute) and state licensed as a Certified General Appraiser a plus

Solid foundation of valuation principals and methodology as they relate to the analysis of fee and leasehold/leased fee real estate interests

Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

Direct experience in meeting the requirements of purchase price allocation under ASC 805 and providing support through the audit review process a plus
