Manager, Real Estate Tax (NYC or Melville, NY)

They provide audit, accounting and tax services, as well as corporate finance, internal audit and risk management, litigation consulting, forensic accounting and other professional advisory services to a broad range of clients across many industries. Working with high net worth individuals, family offices, closely-held businesses, start-ups, middle market and Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking a Manager Real Estate Tax. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Real Estate services tax engagements. They will have expertise in tax research, tax compliance and have experience in such areas as large partnerships, REITs, Corporate taxation, High Net Worth Individuals tax issues as well as an understanding of estate and gift planning.

Required Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Tax

CPA certification or JD a plus

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

8+ years recent experience in public accounting with a strong tax background

Expertise in real estate services industry.

Experience with ePace, GoSystem RS, MS Excel, and on-line tax research

Our client, a leading valuation firm in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a hands-on  Manager to support their Financial ReportingTax-Based ValuationTransaction & Advisory Services  and  Litigation Support practices.

Requirements:

* Direct current experience in a Valuation practice, gift and estate tax required.

* At least five years of relevant experience.

* Prior Management experience required.

* A thorough understanding of valuation theory and practice.

* CFA or ASA required

* MBA preferred

Location: Central NJ

Salary: $85,000 – $130,000 plus bonus
