Our client serves the needs of small businesses and mid-market operations. This is a regional firm of Certified Public Accountants and business consultants. This is an excellent opportunity with a well-regarded 50-year old firm. Friendly, close-knit team-oriented environment. Stable Job history required.
In this fast paced, yet friendly environment you will assist the lead partner in developing and assisting with the litigation and business valuation practice. You will plan, direct and complete valuation/litigation projects as well as guide other professional staff. You will eventually lead the practice and be responsible for business development. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree and CPA preferred. Certifications as ASA, CVA, ABV, or CFE are a plus. Experience with deposition and trial testimony also a plus. Seeking full time.
Required: Our client needs someone who is familiar with business valuation for small business. The purposes of the valuations are for estate and gift tax, litigation, shareholder disputes and financial reporting. The person would also need to know the Financial Accounting Standards Board opinions related to these types of valuations, e.g. FAS 141, 141R, 142, 157, etc. This candidate should have 2-5 years experience, and would be on track to become an equity partner . Superior communication skills both written and verbal are required.

Salary:  $80,000-$100,000 Salary + Bonus
