Job Description:

Consult with distressed clients facing turnaround, restructuring, bankruptcy or other corporate financial matters; develop, design and implement turnaround strategies; facilitate plan of reorganization and evaluation of proposed asset sales, debtor in possession (DIP) financing and retention bonuses for clients; lead client engagements with strong project and client management skills; apply U.S. Bankruptcy Code in restructuring assignments; ensure overall work product quality and take ownership for results/outcomes; coach subordinates and effectively delegate; develop industry/practice expertise and consulting capabilities; leverage jobs/develops people by structuring and supervising work; oversee a significant revenue base and remains cognizant of opportunities to sell.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 5 years providing relevant services with the following experience:
-Substantial expertise in the areas of restructuring, turnaround, corporate finance, business operations, banking crisis management and/or within a specific industry.
-Can articulate what is required to effectively manage a cash crisis situation
-Can build an integrated financial model, LBO model
-Has a clear understanding of the capital structure and the bankruptcy process
-Ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following areas:
-13 Week Cash Flow Forecast
-Performing detailed analysis in the following areas: IS/BS/CF, liquidation, insolvency, claims and valuations
-Distressed M&A/Sec 363 asset sale
-Employee Retention/Incentive Plans
-POR/Disclosure Statement Analysis
-Critical Supplier Analysis
-Accounting / tax-related knowledge
-Fee Statements and Applications
-Financial reporting: Monthly Operating Reports
-Financial Reporting: Statements and Schedules
-Preference analysis
-Financing alternatives
-Refinancing & Recapitalizations
-Business plan development and analysis
-Operational improvements and overhead analysis
-Understand Bankruptcy Code and applications of the code in restructuring assignments
-Customer, market and product profitability analysis
-Quality of Earnings Analysis
-Research / benchmark capabilities
-Pitchbook Preparation
-Strategic thinker with the ability to help clients assess their issues/problems.
-Effectively communicate with all levels of client personnel.
-Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
-Should be DealMaven certified, and have passed the CIRA.
-Additional certifications include but not required: CPA, CTP, CFA

Location: New Brunswick NJ

Salary: $90,000-$110,000 Salary
