Our client is a top consulting firm with offices around the world. They are seeking a Valuation Associate to join their Economic and Valuation Services practice in their New York office. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years dedicated to real estate appraisal and valuations services.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare valuation models and reports for various types of commercial real estate
- Prepare real estate market research
- Produce property level cash flows and net operating income projections
- Review valuation reports for reasonableness
- Assist with the valuation of other tangible assets
Qualifications:
- One year of relevant real estate appraisal experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited college/university
- Completion of Basic Appraisal Principles and Procedures, USPAP, and General Appraiser Income Approach
- Previous experience using Argus and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, solid analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
