Ideal Candidate will have a Pharma/ Medical based background.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Prepare Consolidated budgets, forecasts, etc., taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with budgets/forecasts
- Take ownership and provide routine reports to appropriate functional areas (sales data to sales department, operating data to operations, and such)
- Help analyze the financial and operating metrics to assess near-term and long-term trends
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
- Assist in preparing and improving a routine reporting package for management and lenders
- Develop presentations, financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis
- Conduct analysis on past, future and comparative performance
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
- Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to the executive team based on sound analysis
- Provide financial analysis support to help evaluate growth strategies
- Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about our industry
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
- Ad hoc reporting and other projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
- 2-5 years finance experience
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in excel spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
- Healthcare industry or Pharmacy experience REQUIRED
