Our Client, an advisory firm with locations across the U.S is seeking a Sr. Associate / Manager for they Corporate Advisory and Valuation Services team. The position is flexible with a remote option and will cover the Northeast / Mid-Atlantic territory.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead on engagements and interact directly with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the training, development, and mentoring of junior staff.
- Perform in-depth company, industry, market, economic, and competitor research.
- Gather data pertinent to the engagement through public and proprietary data research, and direct client interaction.
- Prepare written communications of both qualitative and quantitative research results in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and manipulate financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiples, and market transaction analyses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or related field, with sufficient accounting course work from an accredited college or university.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience.
- ASA, CPA, CFA, MBA a plus, but not required.
- A solid understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
- Prior experience in financial reporting valuation including familiarity with ASC 805, ASC 350 and IRC 409a.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional work ethic with the ability to master new tasks quickly.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel.
- Ability to encourage team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel.
- Executive presence and ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements.
- Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels.
Location: Northeast / Mid-Atlantic / Remote Option
Salary: $90K-$150 range Plus Bonus
