 Working directly under the responsibility of the local Head of Client service, the Client Service Manager is primarily responsible for a client portfolio and guarantees that our client provides the right solution, the adequate level of service, and the proper responsiveness that suits to their business. Acting as the “ambassador” of our client, The Client Service Manager takes ownership and responsibilities of managing its clients’ different projects, support cases and overall awareness on the latest our client solutions. This position implies working internally with a set of technical experts and can be broken down into four areas of expertise:

 1. Solution design: The primary mission of the CSM is to understand their clients’ business and make sure that they put together the adequate solution and architecture to address them. A thorough understanding of their industry and an in-depth knowledge of  our client’s products is hence required.

 2. Project management:  The CSM has to guarantee a seamless integration of our client’s solution into their clients’ environments. The key factor of success of this is the writing of the initial Project Implementation Plan, and then provide maximum transparency on the overall project advancement on a regular basis. On top of this, the CSM has to show talents of organization and planning to achieve such tasks as he/she will also need to liaise with internal departments (Product strategists, etc…) should further expertise be needed on a specific field.

 3. Strong Technical skills:  Though  the CSM will work  with a set of Technical Account Manager (T.A.M) in charge of performing implementation and Level 2 support,the C.S.M has to show technical proficiency in JAVA and issue troubleshooting.

 4. Detecting new business opportunities: our customers are at the heart of our organization and company values. They need to be aware of our latest product features, solutions and service offerings. To that extent, the CSM has to keep his/her client base updated on a frequent yet regular basis in order to detect potential sales opportunities. He / she can then be assisted by a product specialist to further dig in the client’s needs in order to design a proper solution.

 This position implies frequent travels to our different clients’ offices within UK, especially London. Initiatives will also be expected in formalizing the client communication and producing accurate client satisfaction measurement. A client Service Manager is expected to handle an important number of clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The areas of responsibilities include:

Ensuring satisfactory achievement of projects (can be on a global basis in cooperation with other Client Service Managers or different product experts).

Make sure clients’ requirements, needs and expectations are tracked and resolved in a satisfactory fashion.

Be the first point of escalation after the T.A.M.

Produce a monthly report to the regional Head of Client Services.

Publish and enhance standard newsletter to inform our existing client base of the latest news of our company and products.

Organize proactive client meetings, let it be for project follow-up or global company update.

Take immediate action in case of critical situation at client site.

 PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

 University graduate in Computer Science.

Previous experience in a development environment utilizing JAVA or C, C++ or FIX Protocol

A minimum of 5 years IT project management experience on complex and international  projects. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding on financial trading application or Order Management System is highly desirable.

A professional project management qualification (e.g. PMP) is highly desirable.

A previous experience as a developer would be a “plus”.

Our client is seeking a Senior Consultant as part of their growing FNA client services group, implementing trading, risk management and straight-through-processing (STP) software. The existing team comprises of personnel with backgrounds in trading, software consulting, and IT development for investment banks. This is a challenging role for an enthusiastic problem solver, looking to leverage and apply their 3+ years in system implementation via a background in IT project management, business analysis, or as an end user from trading or operations.

The role includes the coordination and running of Business analysis and gap analysis phases and also being be the team leader on implementation of the software, eventually transferring this knowledge to the clients designated “super-users.” As such the role is “hands on” and requires the individual to become an expert in the software functionality allied to both a product and business process knowledge.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3-5+ years experience with a financial services institution (in IT, Back, Middle, or Front Office)

Extensive product knowledge of at least one of the following markets- Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Equities, Precious Metals, FX, or Credit Derivatives

Project experience of systems implementation: requirements gathering, business analysis, and/or testing

Knowledge of other financial trading, risk management, and back office software systems is a clear plus
