Our Client is seeking a veteran salesperson to join our growing team of investment professionals in the Capital Region. Ideal candidate will have proven sales ability and regional contacts who would benefit from asset management capabilities.  This role will enhance the individual’s career path plus work hand-in-hand with Sales to support the firm’s overall business development.

Responsibilities: 

• Effectively identify, qualify, and track progress of prospects to become new relationships for the firm.​
o Primary Focus – High net worth individuals
o Secondary Focus – Regional entities, small businesses, endowments, foundations & associations​
• Develop leads list with to show potential for $50-100M of new business; 1st year production target commensurate to experience
• Utilize Salesforce for pipeline and new business development reporting​​
• Understand and effectively communicate investment philosophy, process and solutions.​
• Provide recommendations for active market engagement and product positioning.

Qualifications & Experience:​

• Proven success in high net worth sales and/or investment management, preferably within the financial services industry
• Experience, knowledge and relationship management within the Capital Region
• Series 7 & 66 securities licenses (must be acquired within first 3 months of hire).
• Bachelor’s Degree.  Master’s a plus.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Must be an entrepreneurial, self-starter as well as a team player.
• Position is onsite yet requires extensive regional travel

Location: NY Capital Region

Salary: $125K-$150K base + Bonus up to 100%

Director of Business Development – Private Equity (Boston, MA)

Our client is an independent valuation firm with a track record-a full service appraisal/financial advisory  that provides expert opinions on the valuations of business, equity and debt securities, intangible assets, and other property as well as providing sophisticated transaction services in the form of fairness opinions and solvency opinions.   • Selling financial opinions with respect to valuation, fairness and solvency;
  • Continually monitoring certain economic, industry, capital market and company trends and developments;

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance or another related field. Masters is preferred.  CFA preferred.
  •  8+ years of successful Private Equity / Business Development experience selling to businesses and institutions.
  • Must have contacts in Private Equity.
  • Experience in Valuation field required
  • Excellent Prospecting skills
  • Long hours and insight and desire to keep up with the M&A service advisors

Human Resources Generalist – Professional Services (NYC)

This role is responsible for overseeing all staffing and employee operations. Responsibilities include college recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and assistance with payroll.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with management to solve key problems and provide innovative solutions around people and culture (which includes our nine core values)
  • Collaborate with the extended HC team to implement or improve programs and processes in benefits administration, compliance, learning and development, appreciation and recognition and employee relations
  • Manage onboarding processes for entry-level and experienced new hires
  • Partner with several universities and host as well as attend on-campus events such as Meet the Firms, accounting awards dinners, interviews, information sessions, mock interview and resume workshops.
  • Educate and partner with employees on performance management, career development and training goals
  • Manage the performance evaluation process, buddy and mentor programs as well as the employee recognition programs
  • Ability to develop good relationships with third party recruiter. Handle various employee relations matters as needed
  • Manage all administration associated with employment related matter
  • Provide assistance in event planning for busy season, birthday celebrations, holidays and our State of the Firm event
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree– Human Resource Management or similar preferred
  • 3-6 years’ progressive HR experience with key experience in developing people required
  • HR Certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred
  • Experience supporting professional services firm required (CPA or law firm preferred).
  • Ability to influence peers and senior leaders across the company to drive the right outcomes
  • Attentive to details and able to also reflect strategically
  • Work cross functionally with a diverse group of HR professionals in multiple geographies and roles
  • Intellectually curious to understand New York employment related laws and regulations
  • Solid working knowledge of ADAAA, FMLA, PDL, PFL, SDI, Workers’ Compensation, Paid Sick Leave and EEOC compliance. Must become familiar with Paid Parental Leave law.
  • Mid-level technology skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint required
  • Working knowledge of human resource information systems required
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to listen effectively
  • Work well under pressure and with a team; able to meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving abilities are a must
