Account Manager, Financial Manager (NYC)
Our client, an international financial services information firm, is looking for an Account Manager. Our client is a provider of services that include market research, ratings and data. My client also advises on risk and industry analysis. Seeking an Account Manager who will create and maintain a pipeline of new business. This role will focus on a mix of new business generation, as well as maintenance of existing books of business. Accounts will consist of large sell side U.S. dealers, as well as large Euro based sale side dealers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist direct sales account management team to develop new business relationships, as well as grow existing accounts within global financial services/banking industry.
- Participate in the sales renewal process and contract, and with the administration of new account prospecting efforts.
- Proactively work to achieve annual sales targets.
- Maintain business development efforts by attending meetings for current and prospective clients, and by tracking client activity and developing business proposals.
- Work to minimize business losses and renewal cancellations, and assess the underlying reasons behind any potential client losses and cancellations.
- Maintain and build a strong and active deal pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum four years experience with account management, sales and/or business development within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial market data products.
- Proactive and motivated to achieve sales results via price negotiations and cross selling activities.
- Ability to articulate product value and solutions, rather than just product features, benefits and pricing.
- Skills to build lasting, value added business relationships, as well be a strong team player with a high degree of social skills, relationship management skills and ability to influence peers.
- Strong presentation and communication skills on the telephone and during face to face meetings.
- Ability to travel often (30% of time).

Vice President, Business Development (Boston, MA)
Our client is a prominent wealth management firm located in Boston, MA. They are seeking a Vice President, Business Development to drive client growth, as well as maintain existing client relationships. Must have a successful track record in achieving sales goals in a financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for business development to find high net worth prospects to the firm such as attorneys, CPAs and other advisors of company clients.
• Prospect and develop these new leads, as well as maintain relationships with existing clients through meetings and attending industry events.
• Must generate large sales revenue.
• Interact and coordinate with equity sponsors, investment bankers, accountants and attorneys;
• Continually monitor certain economic, industry, capital market and company trends and developments;
• Conduct business development and support including prospecting for new clients and leads, preparing and presenting marketing materials as well as scoping, pricing and negotiating assignments.
Requirements:

Target Development Analyst (Cincinnati, OH)
Our client is a top rated independent valuation practice.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain contact management software system to ensure contact data and opportunities are regularly updated.
- Generate leads by identifying and prospecting targets.
- Coordinate sales activity with Managing Director and other professionals by preparing target lists, credentials decks and follow-ups.
- Interface with prospective targets via telephone to schedule appointments and send meeting confirmations and credentials.
- Prepare and maintain follow-up agendas with prospective clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree is required.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working in a similar position.
- Strong proficiency in working with contact management software.
- Self-starter, articulate and polished communication.

Account Manager, Fixed Income Sales (NYC)
This role will work closely with the Sales Director to drive sales productivity, meet sales goals and partner with management objectives across top global partners. The team’s overall goal is to develop and maintain new relationships and grow existing partnerships.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts with large global partners while based in U.S. lead office.
• Grow the book of direct revenue business while managing the channels that are in place to grow our indirect revenue via direct sales.
• Prospect and qualify new partner opportunities throughout the Americas.
• Become a knowledge expert on our top global partners. Expertise includes knowledge of organizational structures, key influencers, product mapping.
• Work closely with the direct sales teams to meet with end users about our partner roles in their decision making.
• Support the Sales Director with the renewal process, sales administration (contracts and CRM)
• Achieve annual net sales target and non-sales KPIs.
• Maintain a high level of business activity – evidenced through tracking in oCRM, which includes frequency of client/prospect meetings, new proposals and other activities.
• Regular travel will be required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an account management/sales position.
• Financial Vendor experience preferred.
• Fixed Income / Capital Markets experience preferred
• Proven experience to achieve sales results through price negotiations and cross selling activities.

• Strong relationship management skills and experience in nurturing and growing a territory.
