Marketing Finance Analyst (NYC / Saratoga, NY)

Our client, a consumer products firm is seeking a Marketing Finance analyst for their growing financial planning and analysis team to analyze and help support profitable growth through the organization. Position will be in office 4 days per week in NYC or Saratoga, NY.   • Conduct in-depth analyses and research focused on areas such as sales/ marketing promotions, annual business reviews, volume, distribution, velocity, competitor analysis, etc.
  • Prepare detail of work plans and schedule, complete detailed analysis and research, identify options for new business ventures
  • Develop and prepare reports for brand marketers and the functional leaders; recommends action or change for assigned projects

Our Client is looking for highly motivated Private Equity Accountants with outstanding skills in the fund administration arena for their Union County, NJ and New York offices.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain all financial data in the investment database
  • Post all journal entries and prepare monthly trial balance reports
  • Reconcile all cash received from investors and investments
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Calculate capital calls and distributions
  • Allocate income to partners in accordance with terms of partnership agreements
  • Prepare and issue quarterly financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP for each entity

VP will be involved in many aspects of financial valuation and advisory services to a variety of clientele. Advanced, working knowledge of Excel and Word.

Strong oral and written communication skills and superior analytical capabilities are essential.

Self starter and ability to master new tasks quickly.

Ability to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and handle dynamic, time-sensitive engagements in a team setting.
