Responsibilities:

  • Identify, contact and present company property tax consulting services to property owners and lessees to generate proposal opportunities and secure new business to expand our customer base.
  • Maintain contact with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and identify potential cross-selling opportunities.
  • Achieve revenue generation targets for new and recurring business as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Any coursework in valuation or securities analysis is a plus. CFA or CAIA designation(s) is a plus
  • 0-4 years Experience in financial services, real estate valuation, real estate assessment, property management and/or real estate brokerage highly preferred.
    • Successful track record in new business development and/or account management.
    • Experience in telemarketing/cold calling.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Experience using Salesforce is a plus.

 

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $50K-$80K base +commission,  bonus and healthcare benefits

Analyst – Real Estate Securities Valuation (Bucks County, PA)

Our Client is seeking an entry or mid-level real estate securities valuation professional. The position integrates the application of fundamental real estate valuation concepts with complex real estate securities analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on clients, competitors, industry, and capital markets, including market cap rates, valuation multiples, property price indices, comparable ratios, credit spreads, and demographic trends
  • Prepare market research reports to be used for internal analysis and presentation to clients
  • Build, modify and utilize financial models for discounted cash flow, guideline market multiple, market transaction, fixed income and option valuations
  • Perform valuation analyses on companies and their securities across the subsectors of the real estate sector, including but not limited to, commercial, residential, and multi-use using relevant qualitative information gathered, through the application of proprietary quantitative valuation models and subscribed database
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Any coursework in valuation or securities analysis is a plus. CFA or CAIA designation(s) is a plus
  • 0 to 5 years of real estate work experience, particularly with exposure to the investing in or valuation of debt and equity securities
  • Exposure to creating discounted cash flow models from scratch, particularly whole loan portfolios, is preferred
  • Working/Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working experience with Bloomberg, Intex, CoStar, Argus, Compass Analytics and/or REIC is a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Superior analytical capabilities
  • Self-starter temperament with the ability to master new tasks quickly
  • Experience working with diverse teams
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and handle dynamic, time-sensitive engagements
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours around critical due dates
  • Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Salary: $70K  range plus generous profit-share & bonus

The practice is seeking an entry – mid-level real estate securities valuation professional. Position will be responsible for assisting in growing real estate valuations group, you will need to fundamental real estate valuation concepts with complex real estate securities analysis.

Real Estate Senior Structured Products Analyst (NYC or Central NJ)

Our client is a leader in financial advisory. Seeking a Senior Analyst with concentrated real estate valuation experience and strong experience with complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a candidate with heavy quantitative skills. The candidate will be responsible for supporting valuation services: specifically complex financial instruments. They will perform analysis and review model functionality, evaluate, and document the methodology employed, assumptions used and conclusions reached. The ideal candidate will have experience valuing structured products as well. They will be responsible for presenting valuation concepts to institutional clients which consist of hedge funds, private equity, pensions and endowments and financial institutions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in math, physics or engineering from an accredited college/university. MBA and/or CFA is strongly preferred.
• Strong background with Structured Products and/or REITS experience required.
• Excellent ability to understand real estate from a financial perspective, from either a REIT or structured product standpoint.
• 5 years plus experience with options/derivatives valuations
• Exposure to structured credit asset classes like CMBS or CLOs and/or CDOs
• Experience with RMBS analysis is a plus
• Modeling experience with Intex
• Some familiarity with other market data applications such as Bloomberg is essential
• Some entrepreneurial experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Location: NYC or Central NJ
Salary: $100K Base Plus Annual Bonus and Quarterly Profit Share
