Responsibilities:
• Measure value of clients’ commercial assets by providing detailed valuation analysis.
• Perform valuation analysis at a property level utilizing practices to include market analysis, due diligence, and cash flow modeling.
• Prepare and present valuation analysis to clients, and assist in proposals and executive presentations.
• Responsible for the professional development and management of junior staff, who are also performing the above mentioned analysis.
• Assist in business development activities, as well as the development and maintenance of ongoing client relationships.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related field. Progress toward coursework for a graduate degree is a plus.
• Minimum eight years working experience with commercial real estate valuation.
• MAI is required. Progress toward CPA, REAL, ABV, ASA , CFA, CMA, MBA or Doctorate degree is preferred. Any candidate without one of these other designations will be required to secure one within one year of employment.
• Solid understand of value conclusions under GAAP, tax, and regulatory rules allowing companies to understand the value of an entity, asset or liability so they can make informed business and investment decisions.
• Solid understanding of Discounted Cash Flow modeling in both ARGUS and Excel is required.
• Strong background in managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
• Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal and written communication skills required.

Senior Valuation Associate – Tangible Assets (Atlanta, GA)
Our client is a top consulting firm with offices around the world. They are seeking a Valuation Associate to perform Valuation Services for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate will have 3 years dedicated to real estate appraisal and valuations services.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting senior level analysts in completing valuation assignments. Responsibilities will initially include property inspections, market analyses and data management, and will evolve to include the full valuation process. The Associate will provide valuation models, reports and market research to used for fair value estimates of tangible assets and property valuation. Ability to determine depreciation and provide analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving in the valuation industry. One to two years of commercial or real estate valuation experience is required. The position requires superior skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Word, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, focused on quality performance, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare valuation models and reports for various types of commercial real estate
- Prepare real estate market research
- Produce property level cash flows and net operating income projections
- Review valuation reports for reasonableness
- Assist with the valuation of other tangible assets
Qualifications:
- One year of relevant real estate appraisal experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited college/university
- Completion of Basic Appraisal Principles and Procedures, USPAP, and General Appraiser Income Approach
