They are currently seeking an Audit Senior within their Metropark, NJ office. This role has significant responsibility and must demonstrate high levels of independent judgment and is responsible for executing the full scope of audits for a variety of clients.

Responsibilities:

Run client engagements including pre-audit planning for audit engagements, review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control and conduct audit test which are sufficient in scope to support professional opinions as to the fair representation of client financial statements.

Workpaper documentation and basic preparation of federal and state income tax returns, development of accounting worksheets and performing accounting research.

Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit process and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews; perform in-charge role as needed.

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

3-5 years of progressive public accounting experience

Excellent client service and communication skills

Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software

Our client has two open positions for a Senior Valuation Analyst. The roles are:

  1. Senior Valuation Analyst – Porfolio Valuation Group
  2. Senior Valuation Analyst – Purchase Price Allocation/Goodwill Impairment Group

This role will primarily perform valuations of various investment securities for hedge funds and other investment companies. Such securities consist of illiquid investments such as bank loans, subordinated debt, and preferred and common equity in privately-held companies, as well as structured products and other unique securities.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research on client, competitors, industry, and capital markets, including market multiples, comparable ratios, and credit spreads.

Gather and document pertinent data obtained through client interaction.

Build, modify and utilize financial models for discounted cash flow, guideline market multiple, market transaction, fixed income and option valuations.

Perform valuation analyses on companies and their securities across a wide range of industries using relevant qualitative information gathered and through the application of proprietary quantitative valuation models.

Assist in preparing formal client reports.

Requirements:

Undergraduate BS or BA, or a Graduate MS or MBA degree in Finance. Any coursework in valuation or securities analysis a plus.

Minimum 3 to 5 years dependent on relevant work experience and education, specifically working with Portfolio Securities.

Minimum 3 to 5 years experience with either Portfolio Valuation or Purchase Price Allocation and GoodWill Impairment.

Advanced, working knowledge of Excel and Word.

Strong oral and written communication skills and superior analytical capabilities are essential.

Self starter and ability to master new tasks quickly.

Ability to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and handle dynamic, time-sensitive engagements in a team setting.

Strong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours around critical due dates.

Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a candidate with heavy quantitative skills. The candidate will be responsible for supporting valuation services: specifically complex financial instruments. They will perform analysis and review model functionality, evaluate, and document the methodology employed, assumptions used and conclusions reached. The ideal candidate will have experience valuing structured products as well. They will be responsible for presenting valuation concepts to institutional clients which consist of hedge funds, private equity, pensions and endowments and financial institutions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in math, physics or engineering from an accredited college/university. MBA and/or CFA is strongly preferred.
• Strong background with Structured Products and/or REITS experience required.
• Excellent ability to understand real estate from a financial perspective, from either a REIT or structured product standpoint.
• 5 years plus experience with options/derivatives valuations
• Exposure to structured credit asset classes like CMBS or CLOs and/or CDOs
• Experience with RMBS analysis is a plus
• Modeling experience with Intex
• Some familiarity with other market data applications such as Bloomberg is essential
• Some entrepreneurial experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

They are seeking a Manager – Financial Reporting for their financial reporting valuation group. The ideal candidate will perform and review valuations for financial reporting purposes through the use of modeling and comparative analyses.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed industry and economic research for client engagements used for business planning, financial reporting, and tax planning purposes.

Gather financial information and subject company data from client personnel.

Determine fair value of business enterprises, equity interests, and intangible assets (relationships, contracts, developed technology, trade-names, workforce) required for financial reporting and tax purposes.

As well as an advanced, working knowledge of Excel and Word.  Strong oral and written communication skills and superior analytical capabilities are essential. Must have quant skills and be familiar with financial modeling. A degree in Finance is required. An MBA and/or CFA (or CFA candidate) are also preferred. A background in accounting coursework is important and relevant to the responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities:

The Transfer Pricing Manager is responsible for advising clients of the tax implications relating to their business objectives, recommending alternate courses of action, as well as identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations. They will perform financial analysis of industry data and financial data provided by the client to assist in the documentation of appropriate intercompany pricing policies.
