Debt Markets Solutions Sales Specialist – NYC

Our Client an Industry expert in Credit & Risk Analysis is currently seeking a Debt Market Solutions Sales Specialist in NYC. Candidate will be required to develop business strategies and execute growth oriented sales plans.

Position will include working closely with Sales Directors to build a consistent sales approach for Counterparty Risk Solution products for existing customers. As well as, with the Product team to ensure the company’s value proposition is well crafted and connected for sales opportunities of new products.

Ideal position for a strategic thinking self-starter who strives on generating ideas and demonstrating initiative.

 

*** Role requires 30% travel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy creation and execution, which may include collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Driving new business sales through direct client interaction
  • Identifying new prospects, initial engagement and sales negotiations.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • 5-6 years experience in capital markets /business development experience within financial services.
  • Proven track record of sales, business development, and revenue growth.
  • Multi-level selling skills and experience dealing across global financial institutions required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Location: NYC

Salary: $130K -140K Base (OTE approx. $225K)

Vice President, Business Development (Boston, MA)

Our client is a prominent wealth management firm located in Boston, MA. They are seeking a Vice President, Business Development to drive client growth, as well as maintain existing client relationships. Must have a successful track record in achieving sales goals in a financial services environment.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for business development to find high net worth prospects to the firm such as attorneys, CPAs and other advisors of company clients.
• Prospect and develop these new leads, as well as maintain relationships with existing clients through meetings and attending industry events.
• Must generate large sales revenue.
• Interact and coordinate with equity sponsors, investment bankers, accountants and attorneys;
• Continually monitor certain economic, industry, capital market and company trends and developments;
• Conduct business development and support including prospecting for new clients and leads, preparing and presenting marketing materials as well as scoping, pricing and negotiating assignments.

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required. MBA or CFA preferred
• Excellent and successful background working within Business Development required.
• Excellent Prospecting skills
