Our client is a top financial advisory firm is looking to grow their litigation consulting practice, which is small yet growing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple complex matrimonial litigation projects.
  • Perform advanced financial analysis including asset tracing, lifestyle analysis, business valuation, cash flow analysis, income available for support, and settlement structuring .
  • Communicate and review results with clients in a timely and efficient manner .
  • Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and colleagues

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced degrees including MBA or JD highly desired.
  • Preferred certifications: CPA; ASA/CVA/ABV; CFF; and CDFA
  • Training in divorce mediation and collaborative law highly desired
  • Five plus years’ experience in litigation and matrimonial forensics highly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Open to forensic accountants who have asset tracing experience with openness to applying this skill to matrimonial litigation

 

 

 

Location: Remote but must reside within driving distance to Central NJ

Salary: Competitive Base + Bonus Package

Manager, Forensic Accounting (Central, NJ)

Our client is a top 20 CPA firm currently seeking a Forensic Accounting Manager for their Financial Advisory and Litigation Services groups. 

Manager will work with other managers and partners on client communication and practice development.

 

Responsibilities:

Financial, Accounting, and Economic analyses development.

Maintain and adhere to client confidentiality. Communication with these clients and counsel on strategy and documents.

Interpreting financial information and records, as well as summarizing them.

Report preparation and critique.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree, with a minor or concentration in Data Analytics, MIS, or statistics, from an accredited college/university;

CPA / CFF , CFE preferred

Minimum 6 years experience, public accounting and/or consulting experience in audit, litigation support, business valuation and/or forensics

Strong communication and technical writing skills.

 

Ability to oversee and delegate responsibilities amongst a team.

Client`s Litigation & Valuation Services Group consists of a knowledgeable team of consultants whose goal is to provide superior, specialized services to attorneys in various areas of litigation support. They provide assistance to both matrimonial and civil attorneys utilizing forensic accounting, specialized analysis and reports, assistance in mediation and negotiation, expert testimony and written reports, cross examination and related assistance, financial report preparation, financial exhibits and other visual aids, discovery interrogations and depositions, and damage calculations.

Requirements:

CPA and /or MBA and current public accounting/valuation consulting experience
Business development experience required
Contacts in NJ and NYC

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Commercial Litigation

Looking for someone who does in this order of importance:

-Commercial damages, shareholder disputes, business valuations, some fraud/forensic, a little matrimonial cases

– Prior  experience with testifying

-Has contacts with law firms/ referral business in NYC

-Book of business if possible ( if no non compete)

– Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)

– Master Analyst in Forensic Finance (MAFF)

-Energetic, looking to build a practice

-Some travel may be required

Location: New York NY or Cental NJ

(Relocation Assistance offered)

Salary: $120,000-$200,000  Base Salary plus bonus
