Responsibilities:

Perform in-depth industry, market, and competitor research

Perform local, national, and international real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory

Design valuation models for discounted cash flow analysis (Argus and Excel), comparable property sales models, and construction cost models

Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, including personal and telephone interviews with brokers and property managers

Assist with preparing and presenting the results

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, MS in Real Estate, MS in Finance, or MBA from an accredited college or university

Minimum three years of experience in real property valuation or consulting

Candidate for MAI (Member of Appraisal Institute) and state licensed as a Certified General Appraiser a plus

Solid foundation of valuation principals and methodology as they relate to the analysis of fee and leasehold/leased fee real estate interests

Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

Direct experience in meeting the requirements of purchase price allocation under ASC 805 and providing support through the audit review process a plus

Demonstrated leadership and strong personal integrity
